Common pricing questions.
How much does PrinterVision cost?
€3 per printer per month, excluding VAT. Every feature is included. For example, 50 printers cost €150 a month.
Is there a set-up fee?
No. There is no set-up fee and no fixed fee: you pay per printer per month, from the first printer. Start with a free 30-day trial for up to 10 printers; CaptureTech helps you connect your first printers.
Do I need to buy hardware?
No. PrinterVision is a cloud service. Zebra Link-OS printers connect to it directly. For other makes, the collector runs as a small service on a Windows or Linux machine you already have on site, such as a server, a PC or a Raspberry Pi.
Do I need a subscription to a printer vendor's cloud?
No. PrinterVision talks to the printers over open protocols - Zebra WebLink, SNMP and the makes' own printer commands - so no vendor cloud, gateway or management agent is needed.
Do all makes get the same features?
The price is the same, but what a printer can do depends on its make. Zebra Link-OS printers on WebLink, Honeywell and SATO are managed: settings, files and firmware. Other makes are monitored over SNMP: status, alerts, supplies and counters, file sends and restarts.
Can I see PrinterVision before deciding?
Yes. Request a demo and a specialist shows you PrinterVision on the demo environment, and talks through connecting your own printers, starting with one pilot site.
