Every printer's state and alerts. Live.
One list and one dashboard for every label printer on every site, whatever the make. See the paper-out before the line stops, and the printer that keeps restarting before anyone calls.

A printer only gets noticed when it stops.
Label printers sit at the end of every process. When one stops, pallets wait, shipments miss their cut-off and someone walks the floor to find out why.
For the site manager
What it costs your operation- The ribbon runs out mid-shift and nobody knew it was low.
- A printer has been offline since the weekend, and the first sign is a missing label on an outgoing pallet.
- You cannot tell which of your sites has the printers that cause the most trouble.
For IT
What actually keeps you busy- Each make has its own tool, so there is no single view of the fleet.
- A printer that restarts every few minutes looks fine whenever you happen to check it.
- When something changed on a printer, there is no record of who changed it or when.
Every printer reports in. You see it as it happens.
Zebra printers push their status over WebLink. Every other make is polled over SNMP by the collector on site.
Printers report their state
Zebra Link-OS printers keep a WebLink connection open. Other makes are polled by the collector, and an SNMP trap makes it poll the sender at once.
PrinterVision puts it in order
State, alerts, supplies where the printer reports them, counters and uptime, per printer, per site and per make.
You see what needs attention
The dashboard shows top alerts, printers offline longest, low supplies and printers that keep restarting.
Two examples.
07:52 - Printer PACK-12 restarts for the fourth time in an hour. Each time it comes back, it looks healthy.
PrinterVision flags a restart loop: three or more restarts within 60 minutes, shown in the printer list and on its page.
The operation log shows the restarts started after a settings change on Friday. The setting is put back, and the restarts stop.
Labels go missing at random, the printer looks fine whenever someone checks it, and the cause stays hidden for days.
14:05 - The collector at a remote warehouse loses its connection. After 5 minutes out of contact, its printers are shown offline.
One look at the site tells IT it is the site's connection, not a dozen broken printers.
Calls come in one printer at a time, and each one is looked at on its own.
Everything those examples run on.

Each team sees its own printers.
Printers land in their site and area automatically, by network or by collector. Roles can be limited to sites, and every change is recorded.

Common questions about printer monitoring.
Can I monitor label printers of different makes in one place?
Yes. PrinterVision shows Zebra, Honeywell, SATO and other makes such as Toshiba TEC, TSC, Brother, Epson and cab in one live list and one dashboard. Zebra Link-OS printers push their status over WebLink; the other makes are polled over SNMP by the collector on site, and an SNMP trap makes it poll the printer at once.
Does PrinterVision show supply levels?
Where the printer reports them. Printers polled through the collector report their supplies over SNMP, and PrinterVision shows them in the list, on the dashboard and in the supplies report. Zebra printers connected over WebLink do not report supply levels yet.
How does PrinterVision spot a printer that keeps restarting?
It counts restarts in the operation log. A printer that restarts three times or more within 60 minutes is flagged as a restart loop in the printer list, on its overview and on its own page.
Can a team see only the printers of its own site?
Yes. Roles can be limited to sites (a warehouse, plant or store), so each team sees the printers it looks after. Printers are placed in their site automatically by network or by collector.
